Establishment and Founder:

Jamia Badriya was established in 1975 in Pezakkappilly, Muvattupuzha. The founder, Shaikuna noorul ulama Fareedudheen Bin Muhiyudheen (N:M), initially started a Dars (a traditional Islamic teaching session) at Pallarimangalam Juma Masjid and later continued at Kandanthara Juma Masjid. His vision and dedication to Islamic education led him to dream of founding a college where students could receive comprehensive Islamic education.

Journey and Efforts:

Shaikuna noorul ulama Fareedudheen Bin Muhiyudheen (N:M) sacrificed many years of his life for this cause, traveling to numerous countries to gather support and funds. His tireless efforts and dedication were instrumental in establishing Jamia Badriya Arabic College, which now stands as a beacon of Islamic learning.

Current Status:

Today, Jamia Badriya actively contributes to social welfare through various initiatives. They provide marriage relief by offering financial and logistical support to families for wedding expenses. The college is renowned for its hospitality, extending shelter, food, and assistance to travelers and those in need. They prioritize the protection of orphans, ensuring they receive education, shelter, and nurturing care. Additionally, Jamia Badriya engages in general social welfare activities aimed at uplifting the underprivileged in the community, reflecting their commitment to societal betterment and support for vulnerable populations.
